Natural Dye Making Workshop

Come along to this workshop to learn about botanic dyeing using plants that you’ll be able to see growing in Forest Farm Peace Garden. You will be able to dye a silk scarf with beautiful colours that you can take away with you.

Industrial dyeing of fabrics uses dyes derived from oil, a process which produces wastewater that is polluting to humans and wildlife.

Susannah Hall from Permablitz London has been using natural dyes for 15 years. You can find her on @ecosaztastic.

This is a free workshop for volunteers and it is open to visitors who do not volunteer in the garden who are asked to contribute a £5 - £10 donation towards the costs.

Please register in advance by email on: info@forestfarmpeacegarden.org
