Join us in the garden

We offer volunteering for people experiencing low-level mental health recovery needs, such as depression, anxiety, isolation, recovery from long-term illness.

Do you feel like you'd benefit from being active outdoors in nature? Would you like to meet people and connect with your community? Would you like to learn new skills and get involved?

Forest Farm Peace Garden may be the perfect place for you. Our ecotherapy sessions run every Wednesday and Friday and are free to attend.

We offer a friendly and welcoming space to participate in a range of inspiring activities, such as gentle gardening, growing food and medicinal herbs, education workshops, harvesting and cooking, mindfulness in nature and arts & crafts. No experience of gardening or working outdoors is necessary. We enjoy a shared meal together at lunch-time so bring a packed lunch.

If you are interested in our ecotherapy programme please ask somone to refer you. This can be a mental health service, voluntary organisation, your GP or social prescribing link worker . Click below for information for referrers and our Ecotherapy Referral Form.

If you'd like to speak to someone about what we do or being referred to our service please contact one of our staff for an informal chat.
